Here is a personal piece for my portfolio. It was a challenge replicating different surface textures, from polished leather to suede to translucent.
Big Hoot Trail Map update
Here is a snippet of the 43 illustrations I produce for the Big Hoot Trail Map, and Little Hoot Trail Map- which is the schools programme. I have used real owl designs and incorporated them into the characters, and used purple hues as the main colour scheme to base onto the grey base map

Big Hoot Trail Map progress
I have been invited to do all of the illustrations for the Big Hoot trail map which I am very excited to work on! I will be illustrating all the famous Birmingham landmarks where the owls will be situated. I will also be producing the schools map featuring the owlets, along with a set of owl characters wearing a selection of the chosen owl designs
Shoesies
Here is a piece I am working on, it will be a cute little fashion illustration perhaps made into a greeting card or print of Louboutin shoes. It is a portfolio piece to show examples of work and versatility in illustrating different shapes and textures
Social media loving
It has been lovely to see the buzz being created around The Big Hoot 2015, as it has given the opportunity to build rapport with Cross Country and The Big Hoot and get excited about the progress being made as things start coming together.
Big Hoot Sheldon painting session #4
This was the last of the painting sessions based in Sheldon. From here the owl will be transported to Digbeth for some long hours spent drawing out and completing the owl.
