This is the title page for my picture book story Halo. The moon surrounding the fairy is symbolic, in that it forsees the fairy eventually gaining her halo.
Hi Jane! I've only just noticed your comment, thank you!! I re-designed the cover piece several times so the moon echoes the halo motif running through the story. ONE DAY I'll get published and have a beautiful gathering of happy faces at a launch night!
Beautiful composition and colours. Love how the circle of grass compliments and circular moon.
